A West Midlands Fire Service (WMFS) specialist water rescue team has today been deployed to Nottinghamshire, to assist Newark fire crews after county-wide flooding.
A six-strong team from our Technical Rescue Unit arrived in the Collingham area on Sunday morning to deliver humanitarian aid to several properties cut off by flood water.
Many roads across Nottinghamshire have been affected by flooding.
