RE: FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 REQUEST
West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information requested on 6th November 2023
Please find below a summary of our findings.
Request.
I reasonably request the following in a format that only shows data in a clear manner.
I would like for the last 10 years to date to show the following.
All disciplinary cases whereby a female was disciplined for offences against male staff or male members of the public and what was the outcome and listed offence i.e. harassment or bullying etc. only need that it was a female against a male and what the outcome was, no dates or personal information.
Secondly all disciplinary cases whereby a male was disciplined for offences against a female member of staff or member of the public and what was the outcome and listed offence i.e. harassment or bullying etc. only need that it was a male against a female and what the outcome was, no dates or personal information.
The data should in essence show the difference between genders of females Vs males and offences against the opposite sex and what the outcome was and how it was dealt with.
A longer period of time with no dates will ensure there are no risks of staff being identified.
If you feel there is a risk then give the information in such a way that it provides no risk (there are many ways of doing this) so there should be no issues with providing this information especially as most of this information is supplied to the Fire Authority however having looked at this the data does not go that far back and is somewhat vague as it separates the genders from the listed misconducts and outcomes and does not detail the genders of either the offending person or victim.
