Disused building fire, Bull Yard, Coventry
Four crews tackled a fire in a disused public house on Bull Yard, Coventry in the early hours of Tuesday 17 September.

At 12.51am this morning (Tuesday 17 September) crews were called to reports of a fire on Bull Yard, Coventry. Crews from Foleshill, Binley and Coventry attended, with the first crews arriving at the scene in under 4 minutes of being mobilised. The incident, which involved a fire on the first floor of a disused public house, was tackled by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus with two hose reel jets. The fire was confirmed extinguished by 1.30am and crews ventilated the property and carried out a full search. No persons were involved. West Midlands Police also attended the incident to support our safe working. No cause was specified, but it is not being treated as suspicious at this stage. We left the scene around 2.26am and the site was left with council-appointed contractors to secure the property.
