RE: FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 REQUEST

I am writing to confirm that the West Midlands Fire Service has now completed its search for the information you requested further to your freedom of information request.

Please find below a summary of our findings.

The total number of sick days taken off by firefighters where mental health was provided as the reason, by year, since 2010.

The total number of sick days taken by all staff where mental health was provided as the reason, by year, since 2010.

The total number of firefighters in your authority, by year, since 2010.

*Please note that this is the total number of days when an employee was absent from work and includes weekends and rota days. Therefore these figures should not be used for comparative purposes
