Kelly’s passion is ensuring that we consider the employee and their experience when making decisions which impact them. She is committed to creating a working environment that gets the basics right, that provides employees with the opportunity to have a voice, and that invests in their training and development. Ultimately, our people deliver Our Strategy, and so she is dedicated to creating a workforce which is representative of our communities, and a culture which allows them to thrive.

Interests and hobbies
Kelly has two children and - when not taxi-ing them to various clubs and activities - likes to spend time with family and friends.
Work history
Kelly joined West Midlands Fire Service in February 2023, prior to which she held the role of Head of People Partnering at The Children’s Society – a national charity where she worked for eight years. In this role she led the volunteering team, the HR people partnering team – which included employee relations and change management, the HR Services team, and led on the charity’s strategy around pay and reward. She had previously worked, for nine years, in the HR department at the RAC.
