Marc has had an extensive career within West Midlands Fire Service and has a passion for helping the communities we serve.
Currently, as the new head of development, he's responsible for our recruitment, learning and development and health, safety and wellbeing teams.

Work history
Initially starting out as a firefighter in June 2000, he then held a post as Watch Commander in our research and development team for just over 3 years. Marc also was the manager of Fire Control for nearly two years before working as a senior manager in our Corporate Communications team. He then moved to be an Operations Manager for Black Country South before becoming the Portfolio Team Manager in January 2022. Marc became the Head of Development in April 2024.
