Coventry firefighters extinguish two-vehicle fire in Birmingham Road car showroom

Shortly after 3.30am on Friday (28 June), we responded to Birmingham Road in the Allesley area of Coventry.
Three fire engines and a 4×4 brigade response vehicle from Coventry, Canley and Foleshill stations responded, the first arriving within five minutes of being mobilised.
This was a fire affecting two vehicles in a car showroom.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used three jets to extinguish the fires. The building suffered minor heat damage near the affected area.
Firefighters ventilated the showroom and we left the scene shortly before 6.30am.
A revisit will be carried out by firefighters this morning.
